NCAA South: Nova Wildcats Too Much For Hawkeyes; Terps Advance Too

The NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament's Round of 32 concluded with eight games on Sunday, two of them in the South Regional.

At Brooklyn, New York:

Josh Hart scored 19 points as the second-seeded Villanova Wildcats (31-5) advanced to their first Sweet Sixteen since 2009 with an 87-68 beat-down of the seventh-seeded Iowa Hawkeyes (22-11).

At Spokane, Washington:

Melo Trimble scored 24 points and grabbed eight rebounds as the fifth-seeded Maryland Terrapins (27-8) outgunned Hawaii (28-6) 73-60.

Mike Thomas delivered 19 points and 11 boards for the 13th-seeded Warriors.
