DUCKS BLAST UTES, WIN PAC-12 CONFERENCE TOURNEY TITLE AND AUTOMATIC NCAA BERTH; ELGIN COOK NAMED TOURNEY MVP

At Las Vegas:

Tyler Dorsey scored 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds on Saturday night as the top-seeded Oregon Ducks (#8 in the Associated Press poll and #9 in the USA Today/Coaches rankings; 28-6) demolished the second-seeded Utah Runnin' Utes (#12 AP and Coaches; 26-8) 88-57 and won the championship game of the Pac-12 Men's Basketball Tournament.

With the victory, the Ducks landed the Pac-12's automatic NCAA Tourney berth and made it to the "Big Dance" for a fourth successive season, while they have their best record after 34 games since the 1938-39 season, which they finished by winning the inaugural NCAA Tourney championship.

Oregon's Elgin Cook, who scored 11 points, was name the tournament's Most Valuable Player.
