Take A Demonstration Drive

In the 1961 Lark by Studebaker.

That's Rex May, talking up the virtues and value of owning a Lark. Studebaker (at that time Studebaker-Packard Corporation) sponsored the Mister Ed show.

Gosh...............

Could there be too many sports networks?

You Know, I Actually Hate To See This Happen

Looks like the end of an era in Tallahassee.

Sorry, Charlie

Well, when you make history by coaching your team to six or more lossed in three straight years, it seemed inevitable.

Hey!

It's Chef Boyardee! Unlike Betty Crocker, Chef Boyardee was not a fictitious advertising icon, but a real chef. Hector Boiardi came to the US as a teenager, became chef of a hotel in Cleveland, then opened a restaurant where his spaghetti recipe became famous. Here's a 1953 television commercial with the Chef.

Now A Word....

Someone who made a pain reliever for a living.

This aired on daytime television around 1953. Please don't ask me who the hell was the commercial spokesman. Me pop used to take Anacin but stopped and ultimately switched to Tylenol because of gout.

Bills Can Coach

What else can you do when your team is 3-6, have an anemic offense, and, to this point of the season, has the dubious distinction of losing to a band of amateurs sporting Cleveland Browns uniforms?
