In Sunday's final of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament's Midwest Regional, Malachi Richardson, who was named the Regional's Most Outstanding Player, scored 21 of his 23 points in the second half as the tenth-seeded Syracuse Orangemen (23-13) ended the game on a 29-8 run and came back from a 15-point second-half deficit to upend the top-seeded Virginia Cavaliers (29-8) 68-62.
The Orangemen are heading for their sixth Final Four overall, their first since 2013.
