BUDDY AND HIS OKLAHOMA PALS NO BUDDIES TO DUCKS AS SOONERS THROTTLE OREGON TO GAIN FIRST FINAL FOUR BERTH SINCE '02

At Anaheim, California:

In Saturday's West Regional final of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, Buddy Hield, who was named the Regional's Most Outstanding Player,  scored 37 points (24 of them on eight three-point baskets) as the second-seeded Oklahoma Sooners (29-7) locked downed their first Final Four appearance since 2002 by throttling the top-seeded Oregon Ducks (31-7) 80-68.

Elgin Cook paced the Ducks, whose eleven-game winning streak was snapped, with 24 points.
