Sebastian Blanco (26'), Fanendo Adi (38') and Larrys Mabiala (66') each scored once while Jeff Attinella, in making three saves, posted his----and his team's-----first shutout of the season on Sunday as the Portland Timbers dominated visiting New York City 3-0 in Major League Soccer action, handing the Citizens their first defeat of the season.
The next Timbers contest is set for Saturday May 5 at 7:30 PM Pacific Time (telecast over the Timbers' broadcast network via Portland's KPTV) on the road against the San Jose Earthquakes.
