Stanley Cup Playoffs: Bruins Erupt For Four Third-Period Goals To Oust Leafs;Boston To Face Tampa Bay Next

In the finale of the opening round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, Torey Krug, Jake DeBrusk (his second goal of the game--the other being scored in the first period on the power play), David Pastrnak, and Brad Marchand (empty netter) each scored a third-period goal on Wednesday as the Boston Bruins came back from a 4-3 deficit after two periods to overpower the visiting Toronto Maple Leafs 7-3 in game seven of their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series, which the Bruins won four games to three.

The Bruins will next face the Tampa Bay Lightning in a conference semifinal series set to start in Tampa on Saturday at 12:00 Noon Pacific Time.
