Stanley Cup Playoffs: Bruins Turn Off Lightning On Road In East Semifinal Series Opener; Sharks Hand Golden Knights First Playoff Defeat In 2OT Thriller In Vegas

The Stanley Cup Playoffs continued with two games on Saturday.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Tampa, Florida:

Rick Nash (once on a power play) and Patrice Bergeron each scored twice as the Boston Bruins manhandled the Tampa Bay Lightning 6-2 on the road in the opening contest of their conference semifinal series.



WESTERN CONFERENCE:

Logan Couture scored the game-winning power-play goal (his second tally of the game) at 5:13 of the second overtime period as the San Jose Sharks handed the Vegas Golden Knights their first-ever playoff defeat 4-3 on the road in game two of their conference semifinal series, now level at one game apiece.
