NBA Playoffs: Celtics Close Out Bucks (Get Sixers Next); Warriors Open West Semifinal Series By Dominating Pelicans

The NBA Playoffs continued on Saturday with two games.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Boston:

Al Horford----who grabbed eight rebounds----and Terry Rozier-----who dished out nine assists----each scored 26 points as the Boston Celtics outgunned the visiting Milwaukee Bucks 112-96 in the seventh and deciding game of their conference quarterfinal series.

Jayson Tatum added 20 points to the Celtics' coffers.

Khris Middleton paced the Bucks (who have not won a playoff series since 2001) with 32 points, while Eric Bledsoe added 23 and Giannis Antetokounmpo 22 (to go with his nine rebounds).

Next up for the Celtics, a conference semifinal series with the Philadelphia 76ers, set to open in Boston on Monday night (5:00 PM Pacific Time, TNT).


WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At Oakland, California:

In the opening contest of the playoffs' second round, Klay Thompson scored 27 points while Kevin Durant added 26 as the Golden State Warriors dominated the opening game of their conference semifinal series with the New Orleans Pelicans 123-101 at home.

Draymond Green delivered a triple double for the defending champs, scoring 16 points, grabbing 15 rebounds, and dishing out 11 assists.

Anthony Davis---who grabbed ten rebounds---topped the Pelicans with 21 points.
