NBA Playoffs: Pelicans Complete Series Sweep Of Blazers; Sixers Put Heat On Brink Of Elimination; Wolves Cut Into Rockets' Series Lead; Jazz Take 2-1 Series Lead Over Thunder

Four games are set to be contested in the NBA Playoffs on Saturday.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Miami:

J.J. Redick scored 23 points while Ben Simmons registered a triple-double (17 points, 13 rebounds, 10 assists) as the Philadelphia 76ers came from behind to overcome the Miami Heat 106-012 on the road in game four of their conference quarterfinal series.

Goran Dragic paced the Heat with 20 points.

The 76ers can lock up the series, which they now lead three games to one, by beating the Heat back home in Philadelphia on Tuesday night.



WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At New Orleans:

Anthony Davis scored 47 points (to go with his 11 rebounds) while Jrue Holiday added 41 as the New Orleans Pelicans completed their first playoff series sweep in franchise history with their 131-123 game-four home victory over the Portland Trail Blazers.

C.J. McCollum scored 38 points while Al-Farouq Aminu added 27, and Damian Lillard 19 for the Blazers, who suffered a franchise record-tying tenth straight playoff defeat (and 16th in their last 17 road postseason matches) as they swept out of the opening round of the playoffs for the second successive year.

At Minneapolis:

Jimmy Butler scored 28 points while Jeff Teague added 23 and Andrew Wiggins 20 as the Minnesota Timberwolves picked up their first playoff win since 2004 by beating the visiting Houston Rockets 121-105 in game three of their conference quarterfinal series.

James Harden paced the Rockets, who still lead the series two games to one, with 29 points.

At Salt Lake City:

Ricky Rubio delivered a triple double (26 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists) while Donovan Mitchell added 22 points and Joe Ingles 21 as the Utah Jazz took a two-games-to-one lead in their opening-round series by knocking off the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder 115-102 in game three.

Paul George topped the Thunder with 23 points.
