NBA Playoffs: LeBron Helps Cavaliers Finish Off Pacers As First Round Ends; Rockets Too Much For Jazz In West Semi Series Opener

The NBA continued on Sunday with two games.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Cleveland:

In the final game of the opening round, LeBron James scored 45 points (while grabbing nine rebounds and dishing out seven assists) as the Cleveland Cavaliers held off the visiting Indiana Pacers 105-101 in the seventh and deciding game of their conference quarterfinal series.

Victor Olapido scored 30 points to pace the Pacers while grabbing 12 rebounds.  Darren Collison added 23 points to the Indiana coffers.

The Cavaliers will take on the Toronto Raptors in a conference semifinal series, set to open in Toronto on Tuesday (5:00 PM Pacific Time, TNT).



WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At Houston:

James Harden scored 41 points, grabbed eight rebounds, and dished out seven assists as the Houston Rockets dominated the visiting Utah Jazz 110-96 in the opening game of their conference semifinal series.

Jae Crowder and Donovan Mitchell each scored 21 points to top the Jazz.
