The Stanley Cup Playoffs are scheduled to continue with three games.

All starting times are Pacific.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Columbus, Ohio:

Lars Eller scored the winning goal at 8:59 of the second overtime period as the Washington Capitols trimmed the Columbus Blue Jackets' conference quarterfinal series advantage to two games to one after their 3-2 game-three road win.

WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At St. Paul, Minnesota:

Mark Scheifele scored twice (once on an empty netter) while Connor Hellebuyck saved all 30 shots as the Winnipeg Jets blanked the Minnesota Wild 2-0 on the road in game four of their conference quarterfinal series.

The Jets, who lead the series three games to one, can wrap up their first-ever playoff series victory by knocking out the Wild back home in Winnipeg on Friday (4:30 PM Pacific Time, USA Network).

At Los Angeles:

Brayden McNabb scored the game's lone goal in the second period while Marc-Andre Fleury saved all 31 goals as the Vegas Golden Knights became the first expansion club ever to complete a four-game playoff series sweep in their inaugural season by knocking off the Los Angeles Kings 1-0 on the road.

Kings goalie Jonathan Quick, who saved 20 of 21 shots, was again the hard-luck loser.

Next for Vegas, a second-round encounter with the winner of the San Jose-Anaheim series (which the Sharks lead three games to none).
