NBA Playoffs: Warriors, Sixers, Raptors, Pelicans Open Postseason With Series-Opening Wins

The 2018 National Basketball Association playoffs opened on Saturday with four games.


All series throughout are best four-of-seven. 



EASTERN CONFERENCE:



At Toronto:



Serge Ibaka scored 23 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as the Toronto Raptors, for the first time since 2001, won a playoff series opener by holding off the visiting Washington Wizards 114-106 to open their conference quarterfinal series.


John Wall scored 23 points while Markieff Morris added 22 to pace the Wizards.



At Philadelphia:



J.J. Reddick scored 28 points while Dario Saric added 20 as the Philadelphia 76ers recorded their 17th straight victory by dominating the visiting Miami Heat 130-103 in the opening contest of their first-round series.


Kelly Olynyk came off the bench to top the Heat with 26 points.











WESTERN CONFERENCE:



At Oakland, California:



Klay Thompson scored 27 points while Kevin Durant added 24 as the Golden State Warriors opened their conference quarterfinal series by dominating the visiting San Antonio Spurs 113-92.



At Portland, Oregon:



Anthony Davis scored 35 points while grabbing 14 rebounds while Jrue Holiday scored 21 as the New Orleans Pelicanstook their series opener with the Portland Trail Blazers with a 97-95 road victory.


C.J. McCollum (19 points) and Damian Lillard (18) combined to score 37 points for the Blazers.
