T2 On Road In Sacramento

At Sacramento, California:

Cameron Iwasa scored the only goal of the match in the sixth minute on Saturday as the Sacramento Republic snapped Portland Timbers 2's four-match unbeaten run by defeating the guests 1-0.

This coming Wednesday, T2, who had already clinched a United Soccer League playoff berth, will host Reno 1868 at 7:00 PM Pacific Time (streamed live on ESPN+).

Timbers And Hoops Battle To Scoreless Stalemate, Good Enough To Clinch Playoff Berth For Dallas

At Portland, Oregon:

Saturday's match between FC Dallas and the home-standing Portland Timbers ended in a 0-0 stalemate, enabling the guests to lock up a berth in the upcoming MLS Cup Playoffs.

The Timbers were reduced to ten men after Liam Ridgewell was ejected via a straight red card in the fourth minute of second-half stoppage time.

Ducks Climb Up One Spot In AP Poll, Drop A Spot In Coaches Rankings

After coughing up a 17-point halftime lead and falling at home to Stanford in overtime on Saturday, the Oregon Ducks still climbed up a spot to #19 in the Associated Press college football poll that was released on Sunday.

The Ducks dropped one spot to #20 in the latest USA Today/Amway/Coaches poll.

Niners Fall To Chiefs In KC, Lose Jimmy G For Season With Torn ACL

At Kansas City:

Quarterback Patrick Mahones threw for 314 yards and three more touchdowns on Sunday as the Kansas City Chiefs (3-0) held off the visiting San Francisco 49ers (1-2) in National Football League action.

The Niners lost quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo for the season after suffering a non-contact fourth-quarter knee injury, confirmed after an MRI was taken on Monday to be a torn ACL.

Zachary Ellis-Hayden (70') and Christian Chaney (90'+5) each scored once for the hosts.

Mauro Manotas scored twice (39', 71') while Alberth Elis (32') and Alejandro Fuenmayor (81') each tallied once as the Houston Dynamo dominated the visiting Portland Timbers 4-1 in Saturday Major League Soccer action, snapping a ten-match winless streak.

An own goal in the ninth minute from the aforementioned Mr. Fuenmayor accounted for the lone Portland score.
