Beavers Fall At Home To Cardinal

 At Corvallis, Oregon:


Quarterback Davis Mills completed 21 of 29 passes for 292 yards and a touchdown while running for two other scores as the Stanford Cardinal (3-2) upended the Oregon State Beavers (2-4) 27-24 on the road on Saturday night.


The schools respective records are both overall and in Pac-12 play.

Beavers Lose New-Found Momentum Against Utes In SLC

 At Salt Lake City, Utah:


Ty Jordan ran for 167 yards and a touchdown on Saturday night as the Utah Runnin' Utes (1-2) knocked off the visiting Oregon State Beavers (2-3) 30-24.


The standings indicated were both overall and in Pac-12 play.

Ducks Fall On The Gridiron Against Cal Bears In Berkeley

 At Berkeley, California:


Chase Garbers completed 20 of 32 passes for 183 yards and a touchdown (while running for another one) on Saturday as the California Golden Bears (1-3) racked up their first victory of the season by upending the visiting Oregon Ducks (3-2; #23 CFP Rankings) 21-17.

124th Civil War Game: Beavers Stun Ducks In Final Seconds

 At Corvallis, Oregon:


In his first play of his college career, backup quarterback Chance Nolan ran a yard for the game-winning touchdown with 33 seconds remaining on Friday as the Oregon State Beavers (2-2 overall and in Pac-12 play) upended the visiting Oregon State Beavers (3-1; #15 in CFP Rankings) 41-38 to win their first Civil War game since 2016 and basically ended any chances the Ducks had of reaching the College Football Playoff.


Beavers running back Jermar Jefferson ran for two touchdowns and a series-record 226 yards.

Tristan's The Man As Beavers Overcome Cal Bears For First Win

 At Corvallis, Oregon:


Quarterback Tristan Gebbia passed for a touchdown, caught a pass for another, and ran for the winning TD with 4:30 remaining in regulation on Saturday as the Oregon State Beavers (1-2) overcame the visiting California Golden Bears (0-2) 31-27 for their first win of the season.


Mr. Gebbia became the first Pac-12 Conference since 1996 to complete this touchdown trifecta. 

Ducks Hold Off Bruins To Stay Unbeaten

 At Eugene, Oregon:


Quarterback Tyler Shough threw for 334 yards and three touchdowns on Saturday as the Oregon Ducks (3-0 overall and in Pac-12 play; #11 AP, #13 Coaches) held off the UCLA Bruins (1-2) 38-35.

Huskies Hold Off Beavers In Jimmy Lake's First Game As UW Coach

 At Seattle:


Running back Sean McGrew ran for 91 years and one touchdown while Kamari Pleasant ran for 61 yards and another score as the Washington Huskies (1-0 in both Pac-12 play and overall) held off the visiting Oregon State Beavers (0-2) 27-21 in their season opener on Saturday night as Jimmy Lake was victorious in his debut as the Huskies' head coach.

Ducks Stay Unbeaten, Top Cougs On Road

 At Pullman, Washington:


Running back C.J. Verdell ran for 118 yards and a touchdown while Travis Dye caught two TD passes on Saturday as the Oregon Ducks (2-0 both overall and in Pac-12 play; #11 AP, #12 Coaches) overcame a halftime deficit to upend the hosts Wahsington State Cougars (1-1) 43-29.


Quarterback Tyler Shough completed 21 of 30 passes for 312 yards and 4 touchdowns to help the Ducks' cause.

Beavers Hosed By Visiting Cougs In Gridiron Opener

 At Corvallis, Oregon:


Travell Harris caught seven passes for 107 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another score on Saturday night as the Washington State Cougars outdistanced the Oregon State Beavers 38-28 on the road in the college football regular-season opener for both schools.

Ducks Get Best Of Stanford In Season Opener

 At Eugene, Oregon:


In Saturday's regular-season football opener for both schools, C.J. Verdell ran for 105 yards and a touchdown while Tyler Shough completed 17 of 26 passes for 227 yards and another score as the Oregon Ducks (#12 AP, #14 Coaches) overpowered the visiting Stanford Cardinal 35-14.

LendingTree Bowl: Ragin' Cajuns Knock Off RedHawks To Cap Off First 11-Win Season

At Mobile, Alabama:

Quarterback Levi Lewis completed 19 of 26 passes for 246 yards and two touchdowns on Monday as the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns (11-3) defeated the Miami (Ohio) RedHawks (8-6) 27-17 in the LendingTree Bowl, the last bowl to be contested before next Monday's College Football Playoff title game between LSU and Clemson.

The victory capped off the Cajuns' first eleven-win season in program history.  It was their first bowl victory outside Louisiana since their 1944 Oil Bowl triumph in Houston against Arkansas A&M (now Arkansas-Montecello).

Quarterback Justin McMillan threw for 215 yards and three touchdowns as the Tulane Green Wave (7-6) overcame a 13-point first-quarter deficit by scoring 30 unanswered points as they overpowered the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles (7-6) 30-13 in Saturday's Armed Forces Bowl.

Quarterback Nathan Rourke provided 241 yards of total offense (144 yards passing, 87 yards rushing with one touchdown) as the Ohio Bobcats (7-6) held off the Nevada Wolf Pack (7-6) 30-21 in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.

The Tennessee Volunteers (8-5) scored twice in the final 30 seconds on Thursday night to erase a 13-point deficit and upend the Indiana Hoosiers (8-5) 23-22 in the Gator Bowl.

After a 1-4 start, the Vols ended with six straight wins

Desmond Ridder ran for 105 yards and three touchdowns while throwing a pass for another score on Thursday as the Cincinnati Bearcats (#23 CFP; 11-3) demolished the Boston College Eagles (6-7) 38-6 in the Birmingham Bowl.

Quarterback Jake Fromm threw for 250 yards and two touchdowns, one of them to George Pickens (who had 12 receptions for 175 yards) as the Georgia Bulldogs (#5 CFP; 12-2) downed the Baylor Bears (#7 CFP; 11-3) 26-14 in Wednesday's Sugar Bowl game.

Rose Bowl (New Year's Six): Justin Herbert Uses His Feet To Guide Ducks Past Badgers In Wild Affair

At Pasadena, California:

In his final college game, quarterback Justin Herbert ran for three touchdowns (of five, four, and 30 yards) as the Oregon Ducks (#6 CFP; 12-2) held off the Wisconsin Badgers (#8 CFP; 10-4) 28-27 in Wednesday's 106th edition of the Rose Bowl Game.

Outback Bowl: Gophers Knock Off Auburn

At Tampa, Florida:

Tyler Johnson caught 12 passes for 204 yards and a pair of touchdowns on Wednesday as the Minnesota Golden Gophers (#18 CFP; 11-2) upended the Auburn Tigers (#12 CFP; 9-4) 31-24 in the Outback Bowl game.

Citrus Bowl: Tide Rolls Past Wolverines

At Orlando, Florida:

Mac Jones completed 16 of 25 passes for 327 yards and three touchdowns---one of them to Jerry Jeudy (who caught six passes for 204 yards) in Wednesday as the Alabama Crimson Tide (#13 CFP; 11-2) dominated the Michigan Wolverines (#14 CFP; 9-4) 35-16 in the Citrus Bowl.

Quarterback Sam Ehlinger completed 12 of 18 passes for 201 yards and three touchdowns while carrying the ball 11 times for 73 yards and another score on Tuesday as the Texas Longhorns (8-5) laid waste to the Utah Runnin' Utes (#11 CFP; 11-3) 38-10 in the Alamo Bowl.
