The Oregon Ducks ranked second in the preseason Associated Press college football poll, released on Monday.
The Ohio State Buckeyes are ranked top of the heap with 40 first place votes, the Ducks, with fourteen.
Rounding out the top five, Georgia, Notre Dame, and Texas.
Defending national champions Indiana was ranked sixth with Miami (Florida), Texas A&M, Ole Miss and Oklahoma rounding out the Top Ten.
