Here's a box of Shredded Ralston cereal that probably dates back to the 40s.

By 1951, the cereal was renamed Wheat Chex.

From circa 1950 or '51, here's a box of Shredded Ralston with Elizabeth Taylor on the front. This was to help promote the MGM movie that she, Spencer Tracy, and Joan Bennett starred in, the original version of "Father of the Bride."  This was right before the name of the cereal was changed to Wheat Chex.
