In Wednesday Major League Soccer action, David Guzman (18'), Andy Polo (37'), and Lalas Abubakar (OG-48') each scored once as the Portland Timbers held off the visiting Columbus Crew 3-2.
Niko Hansen scored both Columbus goals (7', 90'+3).
