NOVA PROVES TOO MUCH FOR MICHIGAN AS WILDCATS WIN SECOND NCAA MEN'S ROUNDBALL TITLE IN THREE YEARS (THIRD OVERALL); DONTE DiVINCENZO NAMED TOURNAMENT MOP

At San Antonio, Texas (Alamodome):

Donte DiVincenzio (named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player) scored 31 points on Monday night as the Villanova Wildcats (#1 East; 36-4) dominated the Michigan Wolverines (#3 West; 33-8) 79-62 to win their second NCAA men's basketball national championship in the last three years (third overall).

Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman topped the Wolverines with 23.
