NBA Playoffs: Warriors, Pelicans Take 3-0 Series Leads; Sixers Take 2-1 Series Lead Over Heat

Three games were contested on Thursday as the NBA Playoffs continued.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Miami:

Joel Embiid scored 23 points while Dario Saric and Marco Belinelli each added 21 as the Philadelphia 76ers reclaimed home-court advantage in their conference quarterfinal series following their 128-108 game-three road win over the Miami Heat, taking a two-games-to-one lead in the process.


Ben Simmons added 19 points to the Sixers' coffers while grabbing 12 rebounds.

Goran Dragic topped the Heat with 23 points.

WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At New Orleans:

Nikola Mirotic scored 30 points while Anthony Davis added 28 (while grabbing 11 rebounds) as the New Orleans Pelicans took a commanding three-games-to-none lead in the conference quarterfinal series with the Portland Trail Blazers following their 119-102 game-three home victory.

C.J. McCollom led the Blazers with 22 points while Al-Farouq Aminu added 21 (to go with his eight rebounds) and Damian Lillard 20.

The Pelicans can finish off the series with a game-four home win on Saturday (2:00 PM Pacific Time, TNT).


At San Antonio, Texas:

Kevin Durant scored 26 points while grabbing nine rebounds as the Golden State Warriors defeated the San Antonio Spurs 110-97 on the road in the third contest of their first-round series.

The Warriors, up three games to none, can close out the series with a game-four road win in San Antonio on Sunday (12:30 PM Pacific Time, ABC).
