In the opener, Quinton Chievous scored 15 points and grabbed 13 rebounds as the Hampton Pirates (17-17) led wire-to-wire in their 74-64 victory over the Manhattan Jaspers (19-14).  Next up for the Pirates, a Thursday Midwest Regional encounter on Thursday as the #16 seed against the overall top-seeded----and undefeated----Kentucky Wildcats.

In the finale, Stefan Moody scored 26 points while M.J. Rhett, before fouling out, added 20 as the Ole Miss Rebels (21-12) overcame a 17-point halftime deficit and upended BYU (25-10) 94-90.  Tyler Haws scored 33 points in what was his final game in a Cougars uniform (he closes out his BYU career with 2,720 points) while Chase Fischer added 23.  The Rebels will travel to Jacksonville, Florida for a Thursday East Regional matchup as the #11 seed against sixth-seeded Xavier.
