NCAA South: Blue Devils, Zags Advance To Sweet Sixteen

On the final day of NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament third-round play, two games were contested in the South Region on Sunday.

At Charlotte, North Carolina:

Jahlil Okafor scored 26 points as the top-seeded Duke Blue Devils (31-4), who shot 55% from the field,  dominated the eighth-seeded San Diego State Aztecs (27-9) 68-49.

At Seattle:

Kyle Wiltjer scored 24 points while Domantas Sarbonis added 18 (to go with his nine rebounds) as the second-seeded Gonzaga Bulldogs (34-2) defeated the seventh-seeded Iowa Hawkeyes (22-12) 87-68, despite 20 points from Jared Uthoff (who had eight rebounds) and 19 from Aaron White for the Hawkeyes.
