Two games made up the semifinal round of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament East Regional, both played at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, New York on Friday.
In the opener, Montrezl Harrell scored 24 while Terry Rozier added 17 to go with his 14 rebounds as the fourth-seeded Louisville Cardinals (27-8) defeated the eighth-seeded North Carolina State Wolfpack (22-14) 75-65 to advance to the Elite Eight.
In the nightcap, Travis Trice scored 24 points as the seventh-seeded Michigan State Spartans (26-11) knocked off third-seeded Oklamoma (24-11) 62-58, despite 21 points from the Sooners' Buddy Hield.
In Syracuse on Sunday, Louisville and Michigan State will meet in the regional final with the winner heading to Indianapolis and the Final Four.
