Both games in the semifinal round of the Big Sky Conference Men's Basketball Tournament were played on Friday at the Dahlberg Arena in Missoula, Montana.
In the opener, Felix Von Hofe converted seven of his eight three-point shots en route to a career-high 23 points as the second-seeded Eastern Washington Eagles (25-8) held off the third-seeded Sacramento State Hornets (20-11) 91-83. League MVP Mikh McKinney paced the Hornets with 24 points.
In the nightcap, Jordan Gregory scored 21 points (two of them on the game-winning layup with less than a 0.4 seconds remaining) as the top-seeded Montana Grizzlies (20-11) held off the fourth-seeded Northern Arizona Lumberjacks (19-14) 61-59, despite 26 points from NAU's Kris Yanku.
The Grizzlies and Eagles will square off in the Big Sky Tourney's championship game Saturday at 6:00 PM Pacific Time at Missoula (ESPNU).
