NCAA East: Wildcats Demolish Leopards In Keystone State Mismatch; Late Bucks Carries Wolfpack Past Bayou Bengals

Second-round action from the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament's East Region commenced on Thursday with two games both contested at Pittsburgh.

In the opener, Dylan Ennis scored 16 points as the top-seeded Villanova Wildcats (33-2) devoured the sixteenth-seeded Lafayette Leopards (20-13) 93-52.

In the nightcap, BeeJay Anya's hook shot found the basket just before the buzzer carried eighth-seeded North Carolina State (21-13), who trailed by as many as 16 points, to a 66-65 come-from-behind victory over the ninth-seeded Louisiana State University Tigers (22-11). Anthony Barber paced the Wolfpack with 17 points while Tim Quarterman paced the Tigers with 17.
