Stanley Cup Playoffs: Blue Jackets, Sharks Take 2-1 Series Advantages

The Stanley Cup Playoffs continued on Tuesday with two games.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Columbus, Ohio:

Boone Jenner and Matt Duchene (power play) each scored once while Sergei Bobrovsky saved 36 of 37 shots as the Columbus Blue Jackets defeated the visiting Boston Bruins 2-1 in game three of the conference semifinal series, which the Blue Jackets now lead two games to one.



WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At Denver:

Logan Couture produced his first career playoff hat trick (one of the goals was an empty netter) as the San Jose Sharks doubled up the Colorado Avalanche 4-2 on the road in game three of their conference semifinal series, which the Sharks now lead two games to one.
