NBA Playoffs: Rockets Close Out Jazz; Clippers Force Game Six With Warriors After Victory In Oakland

Two games were contested on Wednesday as the NBA Playoffs continued.

At Houston:

James Harden scored 26 points as the Houston Rockets defeated the visiting Utah Jazz 100-93 in game five of their conference quarterfinal series.

The Rockets, who won the series four games to one, now await the winner of the Golden State-Los Angeles series.

At Oakland, California:

Lou Williams scored 33 points and dished out ten assists coming off the bench as the Los Angeles Clippers knocked off the Golden State Warriors 129-121 in game five of their conference quarterfinal series.

Danilo Gallinari added 26 points while Montrezl Harrell contributed 24 to the Clippers' coffers.

Kevin Durant scored 45 points while Stephen Curry added 24 and Klay Thompson 22 to lead the Warriors, who still lead the series three games to two and can close out the Clippers with a game-six victory on Los Angeles on Friday.
