NBA Playoffs: 76ers Square Series With Raptors At 1-1; Nuggets Top Blazers In Series Opener

Two games were contested in the NBA Playoffs on Monday.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Toronto:

Jimmy Butler scored 30 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as the Philadelphia 76ers, with five players scoring in double figures,  leveled their conference semifinal series with the Toronto Raptors at a game apiece following their 94-89 game-two road victory.

Kawhi Leonard, Pascal Siakam, and Kyle Lowry scored 35, 21, and 20 points respectively to pace the Raptors.


WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At Denver:

Nikola Jokic scored 37 points (while grabbing nine rebounds) while Jamal Murray added 23 (to go with his eight assists) as the Denver Nuggets held off the visiting Portland Trail Blazers 121-113 in the opening contest of their conference semifinal series.

Damian Lillard scored 39 points while Enes Kanter added 26 to pace the Blazers.
