NBA Playoffs: Celtics, Bucks, Blazers, Rockets Take Series Openers At Home,

Four games were contested on Sunday as the NBA Playoffs continued.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Boston:

Kyrie Irving and Marcus Morris each scored 20 points as the Boston Celtics defeated the visiting Indiana Pacers 84-74 in the opening contest of their conference quarterfinal series.

At Detroit:

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 24 points and grabbed 17 rebounds as the Milwaukee Bucks, with seven players scoring in double figures, demolished the visiting Detroit Pistons 121-86 in the opening game of their conference quarterfinal series.

Luke Kennard paced the Pistons by scoring 21 points coming off the bench.



WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At Portland, Oregon:

Damien Lillard scored 30 points while C.J. McCollum added 24 and Enes Kanter 20 (to go with his 18 rebounds) as the Portland Trail Blazers snapped a ten-game playoff losing streak by holding off the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder 104-99 in game one of their conference quarterfinal series.

Paul George scored 26 points (while grabbing ten rebounds) and Russell Westbrook added 24 (to go with his ten rebounds and ten assists) paced the Thunder.

At Houston:

James Harden scored 29 points while dishing out ten assists and grabbing eight rebounds as the Houston Rockets, with seven players scoring in double figures,  manhandled the visiting Utah Jazz 122-90 in game one of their opening-round series.

Rudy Gobert topped the Jazz with 22 points.
