Stanley Cup Playoffs: OT Wins For Caps, Predators, Avalanche; Bruins Top Leafs To Level Series With Toronto

The Stanley Cup Playoffs continued on Saturday with four games.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Washington:

Brooks Orpik scored the winning goal at 1:48 of overtime as the Washington Capitals defeated the visiting Carolina Hurricanes 2-1 to stretch their conference quarterfinal series lead to two games to none.

At Boston:

Charlie Coyle, Brad Marchand, Danton Heinen, and Patrice Bergeron (power play) while Tuukka Rask stopped 30 of 31 shots as the Boston Bruins squared their series with the Toronto Maple Leafs at a game apiece after their 4-1 game-two home win.



WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At Nashville, Tennessee:

Craig Smith scored the game winner five minutes into overtime as the Nashville Predators leveled their series with the Dallas Stars at one game apiece following their 2-1 game-two home win.

At Calgary, Alberta:

Nathan MacKinnon scored the winning goal at 8:27 of overtime as the Colorado Avalanche squared their series with the Calgary Flames at a game apiece after their 4-3 game-two road triumph.
