Stanley Cup Playoffs; Penguins Take 2-1 Series Lead As Sid The Kid Scores; Kings Take 2-0 Freeway Series Lead Back To LA

The Stanley Cup Playoffs continued on Monday with two games.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At New York:

Sidney Crosby (his first of this postseason) and Jussi Jokinen each scored a second-period goal while Marc-Andre Fleury saved all 35 shots as the Pittsburgh Penguins grabbed a two-games-to-one conference semifinal series advantage after their game-three 2-0 blanking of the New York Rangers on the road.



WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At Anaheim, California:

Marian Gaborik, Alec Martinez, and Dwight King each delivered a goal while Jonathan Quick stopped 36 of 37 shots as the Los Angeles Kings took a conference-series two-games-to-none lead after their 3-1 road victory over the Anaheim Ducks in game two.
