NBA Playoffs: Nets Grab First Win Against Heat, Cut Miami Series Lead To 2-1; Spurs One Win Away From Ousting Blazers

The NBA Playoffs continued on Saturday with two games.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Brooklyn:

Joe Johnson scored 19 points as the Brooklyn Nets converted a franchise NBA-era single-game playoff-record 15 three-point shots en route to a 104-90 game-three home win over the Miami Heat.  LeBron James scored 28 points and Dwyane Wade added 20 for the Heat, who still lead their conference semifinal series two games to one.

WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At Portland, Oregon:

Tony Parker scored 29 points as the San Antonio Spurs ran past the Portland Trail Blazers 118-103 in game three of their conference semifinal series to take a three-games-to-none series lead.  Wesley Matthews scored 22 points and Nicolas Banum added 20 to lead the Blazers, who have led but twice in the series to date.  No team in NBA Playoff history has come back from a three-games-to-none deficit to win a best-of-seven series.  The Spurs will try and finish off the Blazers in Portland in game four on Monday night.
