NBA Playoffs: Damian Lillard's Buzzer Beater Ends Blazers Series Drought; Mavs, Nets Force Game Sevens

The NBA Playoffs continued on Friday with three games.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

Deron Williams scored 23 points as the Brooklyn Nets defeated the visiting Toronto Raptors 97-83 to square their conference quarterfinal series at three games apiece and force the seventh and deciding game in Toronto on Sunday.  DeMar DeRozan scored 28 points to pace the Raptors.



WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At Dallas:

Monta Ellis scored 12 of his 29 points in igniting a fourth-quarter comeback as the Dallas Mavericks squared their conference quarterfinal series with the San Antonio Spurs at three games apiece following their game-six 113-111 home victory.  Dirk Nowitzki scored 22 points to add to the Mavericks' coffers. Tony Parker paced the Spurs with 22 points.  The series will be decided in San Antonio on Sunday.

At Portland, Oregon:

LaMarcus Aldridge scored 30 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while Damian Lillard, who scored 25, delivered the game-winning three-point basket from 30 feet away at the buzzer as the Portland Trail Blazers advanced to the second round for the first time since 2000 with their 99-98 home victory over the Houston Rockets.  The Blazers, who won the series four games to two, will get the winner of the San Antonio-Dallas series.  James Harden scored 34 points and Dwight Howard added 26 (to go with his eleven rebounds) to pace the Rockets.
