139th Preakness Stakes: California Chrome Shines Again, This Time At Pimlico; Still With Shot At Triple Crown

At Baltimore:

In Saturday's 139th running of the Preakness Stakes, Kentucky Derby winner California Chrome, with jockey Victor Espinoza aboard, held off Ride on Curlin to keep alive the possibility of becoming the first horse to win the Triple Crown since 1978.  Social Inclusion finished third.

California Chrome will now head to the June 7 edition of the Belmont Stakes with a chance to win the Triple Crown, a feat last accomplished in 1978 by Affirmed.
