Stanley Cup Playoffs: Bruins Square Series With Habs At 2-2; Ducks Knock Off Kings In LA To Climb Back Into Freeway Series

Two games were played on Thursday as the Stanley Cup Playoffs continued.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Montreal:

Matt Fraser scored the only goal of the game 79 seconds into overtime as the Boston Bruins squared their conference semifinal series with the Montreal Canadiens at two games apiece following their 1-0 road triumph in game four.  Tuukka Rask stopped all 33 shots for the Bruins while his Canadiens counterpart Carey Price stopped 34 of 35 Boston shots.



WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At Los Angeles:

Corey Perry (Power Play), Teemu Selanne (PP), and Ben Lovejoy each scored a goal as the Anaheim Ducks held off the Los Angeles Kings 3-2 on the road in game three of their conference semifinal series and cut the Kings' advantage in hockey's first "Freeway Playoff Series" to two games to one.
