NBA Playoffs: Dominating Series-Opening Wins For Heat, Spurs

Two games were played in the NBA Playoffs on Tuesday.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Miami:

LeBron James scored 22 points and Ray Allen added 19 as the Miami Heat used a balanced offense to break open the opening game of their conference semifinal series in the second half en route to a 107-86 home victory over the Brooklyn Nets, who had won all four regular-season encounters with the two-time defending NBA champions.



WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At San Antonio:

Tony Parker scored 33 points and dished out nine assists as the San Antonio Spurs dominated the visiting Portland Trail Blazers 116-92 in the opening contest of their conference semifinal series.  LaMarcus Aldridge, with 32 points and 14 rebounds was one of the very few bright spots for the Blazers.
