Stanley Cup Playoffs: Habs Knock Off Bruins In Beantown, Will Face Rangers In East Final; Kings Hold Off Ducks, Force Seventh Game Of "Freeway Series" In Anaheim

The Stanley Cup Playoffs continued with two games on Wednesday.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Boston:

Goals from Dale Weise, Max Pacioretty, and Daniel Briere (Power Play) carried the Montreal Canadiens to a 3-1 game-seven road victory in their conference semifinal series with the Boston Bruins.  Carey Price saved 29 of 30 shots for Les Habs as Montreal, who won the series four games to three, will host Saturday's opening game of the Eastern Conference Final against the New York Rangers.



WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At Los Angeles:

Jake Muzzin and Trevor Lewis each scored a goal while Jonathan Quick saved 21 of 22 shots as the Los Angeles Kings squared their conference semifinal series with the Anaheim Ducks at three games apiece following their 2-1 game-six victory at home.  The series will be decided in Anaheim on Friday, with the winner to face the Chicago Blackhawks in the Western Conference Final.
