NBA Playoffs: Nets Knock Off Raptors In Toronto To Win Series, Get Heat Next; Spurs Dominate Mavericks In Game Seven, Get Home-Court Advantage Against Blazers

The opening round of the NBA Playoffs concluded on Sunday with two games.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Toronto:

Paul Pierce blocked Kyle Lowry's shot from the lane on the game's final play as the Brooklyn Nets held off the Toronto Raptors 104-103 on the road in game seven and won their conference quarterfinal series four games to three.  Joe Johnson scored 26 points to pace the Nets, who will take on the Miami Heat in a conference semifinal series which opens on Tuesday night in Miami.  The aforementioned Kyle Lowry paced the Raptors with 28 points.



WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At San Antonio:

Tony Parker scored 32 points and Manu Ginobili added 20 coming off the bench as the San Antonio Spurs dominated the visiting Dallas Mavericks 119-96 in the seventh and deciding game of their conference quarterfinal series and took out their Texas rivals four games to three.  The Spurs will host the opening game of their conference semifinal series with the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday.  Dirk Nowitzki paced the Mavericks with 22 points and grabbed nine rebounds.
