Four games were on tap for Thursday as the quarterfinal round of the Pac-12 Conference Men's Basketball Tournament was contested at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada, near Las Vegas.
In the opening contest, Allonzo Trier scored 22 points as the #1-seeded Arizona Wildcats (#15 in the Associated Press poll, #17 in the USA Today/Coaches rankings; 25-7) defeated the eighth-seeded Colorado Buffaloes (17-15) 83-67.
In the second contest, Aaron Holiday matched a career high with 34 points (while dishing out eight assists and grabbing seven rebounds) as the fourth-seeded UCLA Bruins (21-10) defeated the Stanford Cardinal (18-15) 88-77.
K.Z. Okpala paced the fifth-seeded Cardinal with 23 points.
Chemezie Metu scored 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as the second-seeded Southern California Trojans (22-10) defeated the tenth-seeded Oregon State Beavers (16-16) 61-48.
In the Thursday finale, Elijah Brown scored 21 points as the sixth-seeded Oregon Ducks (22-11) knocked off the third-seeded Utah Runnin' Utes 68-66.
Justin Bibbins topped the Utes with 20 points.
