Two games were played on Sunday as the quarterfinal round of the West Regional of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament concluded.
At Charlotte, North Carolina (Spectrum Center):
T.J. Starks scored 21 points as the seventh-seeded Texas A & M Aggies (22-12) manhandled the second-seeded-----and defending national champions----North Carolina Tar Heels (26-11) 86-65.
Joel Berry II paced Carolina with 21 points.
At Nashville, Tennessee (Bridgestone Arena):
Braian Angola scored 16 points as the ninth-seeded Florida State Seminoles (22-11) erased a 12-point second-half deficit and upended the top-seeded Xavier Musketeers (29-6) 75-70.
