NCAA Midwest: Cardinals, Wolverines Advance

Two games were played in the Midwest Region of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament on Saturday in third-round action.

At Orlando, Florida:

Luke Hancock scored 21 points as the fourth-seeded Louisville Cardinals (31-5) held off the fifth-seeded Saint Louis Billikens (27-7), who were not helped by the fact they missed all 15 three-point shots, 66-51.

At Milwaukee:

Nik Stauskas scored 17 points while making four of his team's 14 three-point baskets as the second-seeded Michigan Wolverines (27-8) defeated the seventh-seeded Texas Longhorns (24-11) 79-65, despite 22 points from the 'Horns' Isiah Taylor.
