BRUINS KNOCK OFF WILDCATS, CLAIM PAC-12 TOURNEY CROWN

At Paradise, Nevada:

Kyle Anderson scored 21 points and grabbed 15 rebounds while  Jordan Adams, who added 19, converted a critical three-point shot in the final minute as the second-seeded UCLA Bruins (26-8) outlasted the top-seeded Arizona Wildcats (#4 in both the Associated Press and USA Today/Coaches polls; 30-4) 75-71 on Saturday to capture the championship match of the Pacific-12 Conference Men's Basketball Tournament in suburban Las Vegas.  The Bruins gain the Pac-12's automatic NCAA Tournament berth while the Wildcats, who won the league's regular-season crown, and who were paced by Nick Johnson's 21 points, will make the "Big Dance" as an at-large entry, though their shot at locking down a #1 regional seed may be in doubt.
