NCAA West: Badgers Dominate Baylor; Wildcats Hold Off Aztecs

The semifinal round of the West Region of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament took place on Thursday with both games contested at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

In the opener, Frank Kaminsky scored scored 19 points and blocked eight shots as the #2-seeded Wisconsin Badgers (29-7) coasted to a 69-52 victory over the #6-seeded Baylor Bears (26-12).

In the nightcap, Nick Johnson scored all of his 15 points in the final 2:45 seconds as the top-seeded Arizona Wildcats (33-4) rallied to defeat fourth-seeded San Diego State (31-5) 70-64, despite 25 points from the Aztecs' Xavier Thames.

Arizona and Wisconsin will battle for the West Regional title on Saturday in Anaheim (5:49 PM Pacific Time, TBS) with the winner heading to Arlington, Texas and the Final Four.
