Stanley Cup Playoffs: Saturday Wins For Bruins, Lightning, Coyotes, Knights

The Stanley Cup Playoffs are set to continue on Saturday with four games.

EASTERN CONFERENCE (All games played at Toronto):

Game #1:

Charlie Coyle (power play), Sear Kuraly (shorthanded), and Brad Marchand (empty net) each scored once as the Boston Bruins took a two-games-to-one conference quarterfinal series lead over the Carolina Hurricanes after their 3-1 game-three victory.

Jaroslav Halak saved 29 of 30 shots for the victory.

Game #2:

Victor Hedman scored the game winner late in the second period as the Tampa Bay Lightning held off the Columbus Blue Jackets 3-2 in game three to take a two-games-to-one series lead.



WESTERN CONFERENCE (All games played at Edmonton):

Game #1:

Empty-net goals late in the third period from Taylor Hall and Lawson Crouse carried the Arizona Coyotes to a 4-2 game-two victory over the Colorado Avalanche in game three to cut Colorado's series advantage to two games to one.

Game #2:

Patrick Brown scored the winning goal in the third period while Marc-Andre Fleury saved 26 of 27 shots as the Vegas Golden Knights took a commanding three-games-to-none conference quarterfinal series lead over the Chicago Blackhawks after their 2-1 game-three victory.
