NBA Playoffs: Raptors, Celts One Victory Away From East Semis; Jazz, Clippers Take 2-1 Series Leads

At Bay Lake, Florida:

The NBA Playoffs continued with four games on Friday at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

Game #1:

Pascal Siakam scored 26 points (while grabbing eight rebounds) while Fred VanVleet added 22 and Serge Ibaka 20 (to go with his 13 rebounds) as the Toronto Raptors throttled the Brooklyn Nets 117-92 to take a three-games-to-one conference quarterfinal series lead.

The Raptors can finish off the Nets with a game-four victory on Sunday.

Tyler Johnson led Brooklyn with 23 points.

Game #2:

Kemba Walker scored 24 points (and pulled in eight rebounds) while Jaylen Brown added 21 as the Boston Celtics downed the Philadelphia 76ers 102-94 in game three of their series, which they now lead three games to none.

Joel Embiid scored 30 points to lead the Sixers while grabbing 13 rebounds in the proccess.

The Celtics can close out the series with a game-four victory on Sunday.



WESTERN CONFERENCE:

Game #1:

Mike Conley scored 24 points while Ruby Gobert added 24 (to go with his 14 rebounds) and Donovan Mitchell 20 as the Utah Jazz demolished the Denver Nuggets 124-87 in game three of their series, which they now lead two games to one.


Game #2:

Kawhi Leonard scored 34 points, grabbed nine rebounds, and dished out eight assists as the Los Angeles Clippers (with seven players scoring in double figures) held off the Dallas Mavericks 130-122 in game three of their conference quarterfinal series, which the Clippers now lead two games to one.

Kristaps Porzingis paced the Mavericks with 34 points (while grabbing 13 rebounds) while Tim Hardaway, Jr. and Seth Curry each added 22.
