Stanley Cup Playoffs: Lightning Have Bruins Backs To Wall; Islanders, Knights Take 2-1 Series Leads

The Stanley Cup Playoffs resumed on Saturday in Canada with three games.

EASTERN CONFERENCE (Both games played at Toronto):

Game #1:

Ondreij Palat scored twice while Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped 29 of 30 shots as the Tampa Bay Lightning stopped the Boston Bruins 3-1 in game four of their conference semifinal series, which they now lead three games to one.

The Lightning can advance to the Eastern Conference Final with a game-five victory on Monday (4:00  PM Pacific Time, NBCSN)

Game #2:

Matt Martin, Leo Komarov, and Anders Lee (power play) each scored once while Semyon Varlamov saved 26 of 27 shots as the New York Islanders held off the Philadelphia Flyers 3-1 in game three of their series, which the Islanders now lead two games to one.



WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At Edmonton, Alberta:

Alex Tuch, Zach Whitecloud, and Mark Stone (power play) each scored once while Robin Lehner saved all 31 shots as the Vegas Golden Knights blanked the Vancouver Canucks 3-0 in game three of their conference semifinal series.

The Knights lead the series two games to one.
