Stanley Cup Playoffs: Lightning, Blackhawks, Ducks Take 2-0 Series Leads

Three games were played in the Stanley Cup Playoffs on Sunday.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Montreal:

Nikita Kucherov scored a pair of power-play goals as the Tampa Bay Lightning scored four power-play tallies en route to a 6-2 road domination of the Montreal Canadiens and taking a two-games-to-none conference-semifinal-series lead.



WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At Chicago:

Patrick Kane scored twice while Corey Crawford saved 30 of 31 shots as the Chicago Blackhawks dominated the visiting Minnesota Wild 4-1 to extend their lead in their conference semifinal series to two games to none. The Blackhawks are 8-0 in home playoff games all-time against the Wild.

At Anaheim, California:

Matt Beleskey, Hampus Lindholm, and Nate Thompson (empty net) each scored a goal while Frederik Andersen stopped all 30 shots for his first career playoff shutout as the Anaheim Ducks stretched their conference semifinal series lead to two games to none following their game-two 3-0 victory over the visiting Calgary Flames.
