NBA Playoffs: Bulls, Clippers Steal Series-Openers On Road

The NBA Playoffs continued on Monday with two games.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Cleveland:

Derrick Rose scored 25 points while Pau Gasol added 21 (to go with his 10 rebounds) and Jimmy Butler 20 as the Chicago Bulls knocked off the Cleveland Cavaliers 99-92 in the opening game of their conference semifinal series.

For the Cavaliers, Kyrie Irving scored 30 points while Iman Shumpert added 22 and LeBron James 19 (to go with his 15 rebounds).



WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At Houston:

Blake Griffin delivered his second successive triple-double (26 points, 14 rebounds, 13 assists) while Jamal Crawford added 21 points and Matt Barnes 20 as the Los Angeles Clippers seized home-court advantage after their conference-semifinal-series-opening 117-101 road win over the Houston Rockets, who were led by Dwight Howard's 22 points and ten rebounds and James Harden's 20 points.
