NBA Playoffs: Home Wins Give Wizards, Grizzlies 2-1 Respective Series Leads

The NBA Playoffs continued with two games on Saturday.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Washington:

Paul Pierce, who scored 13 points,  delivered the game-winning bucket at the buzzer as the Washington Wizards, who led by 20 points with seven minutes left in regulation, held on for a 103-101 game-three home win over the Atlanta Hawks and now lead their conference semifinal series two games to one.  Otto Porter (who grabbed nine rebounds), Bradley Beal (who dished out eight assists), and Nene each scored 17 points to pace the Wizards while Jeff Teague and Dennis Schroder each scored 18 to lead the Hawks.



WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At Memphis:

Zach Randolph scored 22 points while Marc Gasol added 21 (to go with his 15 rebounds) as the Memphis Grizzlies topped the visiting Golden State Warriors 98-89 to take a two-games-to-one conference semifinal series lead, despite 23 points from Stephen Curry and 20 from Klay Thompson for the Warriors.
