NBA Playoffs: Home Wins Give Bulls (In Dramatic Fashion) And Clippers (In Lopsided Fashion) Respective 2-1 Series Leads

Two games in the NBA Playoffs were contested on Friday.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Chicago:

Derrick Rose, who scored 30 points, hit the game-winning three-point shot at the buzzer as the Chicago Bulls defeated the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers 99-96 to take a two-games-to-one conference semifinal-series lead.  Jimmy Butler added 20 points to the Bulls' coffers.  LeBron James scored 27 points, dished out 14 assists, and grabbed eight rebounds for the Cavaliers.



WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At Los Angeles:

J.J. Redick scored 31 points while Austin Davis added a playoff-career-high 25, and Blake Griffin 22 (to go with his 14 rebounds) as the Los Angeles Clippers took a two-games-to-one conference semifinal-series advantage following their 124-99 game-three home beat-down of the Houston Rockets.  James Harden scored 25 points and dished out 11 assists for the Rockets
